This single brain whiskey wears an 18 year age statement yet its story begins 500 years ago with the native Okinawan spirit of Awamori. Hayashi uphold this tradition with a modern distillers touch. Pure Indica rice is fermented with a rare strain of black Koji, then aged in white oak barrels for 18 years. A bittersweet nose meets the sense of harvest grains, while every sip is filled with fresh oranges, offset by a lingering woodiness. More woodsy delight, completes a well balanced finish to this unique and unmatched Japanese whiskey experience.
