Three single malt components were blended: two refill casks (Port and Madeira) containing a mix of 7-year Virginia Distillery Co. and 7-year Speyside single malts, plus an 8-year peated single malt from 10th Street Distillery.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe combined blend (~120 gallons) was married in tank through Fall 2025, then split for finishing. Half was finished in freshly emptied Wild Turkey bourbon barrels to create Echo. The remaining half was divided between the original Port cask and a first-fill Hanzell pinot noir cask, then recombined to create Reverb. All casks were lightly proofed with water and rested for ~3 months prior to final blending and bottling in Spring 2026. Bottled ~ 45-46% a.b.v. - a typical range for Single Malt Scotches - was every bit intentional. It is a densely compiled and interwoven reflection of flavors, adding depth, complexity, and atmosphere.
