Siembra Alteño Añejo Tequila is an authentic highland tequila produced at Destilería El Ranchito (NOM 1414) in Arandas, Jalisco—an area celebrated for its red volcanic soil and sweet, mineral-rich agave. Made from 100% Blue Weber agave, the piñas are slowly roasted in traditional brick ovens, roller-milled, and naturally fermented with agave fibers for added depth. The tequila is double-distilled in copper pot stills and aged for over 18 months in American oak barrels, resulting in a beautifully balanced spirit that captures both the essence of agave and the warmth of carefully matured wood.
Tasting Notes:
Nose: Cooked agave, caramel, toasted oak, and hints of orange peel and vanilla.
Palate: Rich and smooth with flavors of toffee, roasted agave, baking spice, and light honey sweetness.
Finish: Long and elegant with lingering oak spice, pepper, and gentle fruit tones.
