Had a single pour in 2024. Decided to seek out a bottle for home. No regrets. Great flavor. Would never guess the proof was so high. Fantastic addition if you like full flavor, small batch bourbon.

At 134 proof, this Smokeye Hill Barrel Proof Bourbon doesn’t hide its strength and may have you singing Morgan Wallen. The first sip comes in hot—sharp and heavy with alcohol, which is to be expected at this proof. I initially thought it might “lay down” and mellow over time, but instead it seemed to intensify, showing off its bold character rather than softening.
Drinking neat, I picked up faint fruit notes that quickly gave way to more prominent vanilla tones, followed by a strong oak finish that lingered. This is not an everyday sipper—it demands respect and perhaps the right mood or occasion.
At $84, it’s a worthwhile addition to any collection, especially if you appreciate high-proof, small-batch bourbons. If you have that one friend who loves a true hazmat pour, this is definitely one he’d enjoy.
Had been looking for some time for Fortaleza tequila other than the blanco. Was excited to find it here. It arrived quickly and well packaged. There was some leakage from the corked bottle, but not enough volume loss to be noticeable. The tequila lived up to expectations, exceptionally smooth.

Always have been into Caribbean Rum. I'm a rum and coke gut. Until I tasted Angostura, my daily go to was Appleton. I have a Trinidadian friend who recommended Angostura. I have been converted...similar to Appleton but much more flavorful! Not available in stores on the West Coast, but if I order at least a half case from PB, pretty close to the same price as Appleton including shipping. My next order is going to be a full case.

This is such a beautiful calendar. 24 whiskies from all over the world, with a book of tasting notes and a little history as well as 2 crystal glencairn glasses (which are BEAUTIFUL), all packed in a real wood case. The little books are all very high quality, with real bindings like real books, with notes and information on every page. There's even a little description of the glasses and what they are for and a little history. This is *such* a treat, I just love it. I can't wait to start my calendar! And it was shipped to me extremely quickly and in immaculate condition. Thank you!

I love this bourbon. All the classic bourbon flavors yet budget friendly.
I had a high hopes for this bottle. My wife and I are big fans of anything sherry finished. After researching the mashbill I had assumed this was sourced from Jim Beam. When we tried it it confirmed it. The most overwhelming notes of nuttiness come off the nose and on the palate thats just about all I get with a slightly medicinal cherry note. The sherry influence does not compliment the nut forward note that the whiskey already has, instead it just adds a sweeter note that really doesn't add anymore depth as they are too contrasting. My question is why take a nut forward whiskey and finish it in another nutty finish. Not for me. 2 stars for the dope bottle topper.
Love this Mezcal. Some of the best for the price. Hard to find better at this price. Do your self a favor and get a bottle. You will love it.
They gold 'key' strangely made me pick up this lovely bottle of bourbon. Now I collect the 'keys' reminding me of how it 'unlocked ' my heart to appreciate the perfect things in life! Serve this 'beauty' in the perfect 'tulip' bourbon glass, ' neat' , or with 1 cube. It will change your day!
