Don’t be fooled by the name “Jack Daniels.” This is a serious whiskey on a serious level with other major labels. The flavor is very complex, but if you just sip to enjoy it’ll take you to another dimension of relaxation.
A 10 year wheated sweet, caramel noted bourbon for less than a $100, hard to beat that profile. Best Bernheim I’ve tasted.

As a mezcal reposado, I would give it a 9 out of ten. Still I like the aroma and that is not as strong as other mezcal reposado. Good after a good meal.
This 10 year Horse Soldier is very good, and not harsh for its high proof. At first nose you might expect it to burn, but it doesn't. The flavor is very nice, and coats your tongue and mouth. Your left with a nice flavor that hangs with you, but doesn't burn. I give this a 5 star rating because I can't find anything I dislike about it. Buy it and enjoy for yourself!
I don’t normally drink Bourbon Whiskey but this was gifted to me by a friend and I am so glad he did! Smooth, kinda smoky, and no unpleasant burn. I’ve ordered a couple times since then but it’s hard to catch it in stock. Try it, you won’t be sorry. Well worth it!
My three person Whiskey group put this GR 250 up against Evan Williams 250, Whistle Pig 250, and Wattie Boone 1776 during a July 4th tasting.
Green River finished last. We all agreed it had unusual finish on it. Not terrible, just different. We love GR Wheated expressions, but not this bottle.
