We could have followed the standard approach to making rye whiskey, replanting the same flavor profile year after year. Instead, we blend our rye in annual vintages that highlight the most exceptional flavors we discover in that year’s barrels, making each release as unique and distinctive as the promising racehorse on its label.
Single Barrel Vertical Series Rye Whiskey
This single barrel is from Pinhook’s Vertical Series which follows a group of rye whiskey barrels as they evolve over time. We bottled it unfiltered at cask strength to highlight the traits that made this particular barrel so compelling to those who selected it.
Tiz Rye Time
Pinhooking is finding young thoroughbreds with champion potential and nurturing them to maturity, much like we do with our barrels. The Vertical Series Rye features Tiz Rye Time, who started his racing career when we launched the series.
