Matsui Sakura Cask Single Malt Japanese Whisky is inspired by Kikukawa Eizan’s “Beauty in the Cherry blossom Garden”. The artist, Kikukawa Eizan, portrayed Japanese women of strength and grace in his ukiyo-e masterpiece, which we believe was a great fit for the sakura cask which also possesses an underlying strength of flavor and a sweet aroma.
