Inspired by the first ship chartered by La Fayette across the Atlantic in 1777 to aid the Americans in their quest for independence, La Victoire Batch 2 in an exceptional four-grain American whiskey created from just ten barrels distilled from corn (48%), wheat (35%), barley (9%), and rye (8%), and aged between five and eleven years in primarily new American oak.
Nose: Caramelized pineapple, toasted coconut, white flowers, apricot tart with almond cream, buttery pastry, salted caramel, tonka bean, cinnamon, dried orange peel
Palate: Suave and silky with notes of candied orange peel, caramelized apples, cinnamon, nutmeg, fresh-pressed apple cider
Finish: Roasted spiced pecans, candied ginger, molasses, vanilla bean, orange zest, buttery brioche with cinnamon and a touch of salt
