During his travels, The Curious Mind was led across the Atlantic and into the heart of the South American continent to the captivating and wonderous country of Brazil. PJ began to devise an extraordinary recipe to incorporate the refreshingly sweet and tangy Brazilian Pineapple into Drumshanbo Gunpowder Irish Gin back at The Shed distillery in Drumbshanbo. An extraordinary recipe to incorporate the refreshingly sweet and tangy Brazilian Pineapple. Crystalline Gunpowder tea with Oriental botanicals are complemented by exotic layers of fresh citrus, with subtle hints of Brazilian pineapple. The gin is well-suited for tropical and citrus-forward cocktails, adding a vibrant twist to classics like Gin & Tonic or a Martini.
Tasting Notes:
Nose: Expect a bright and tropical aroma, with juicy pineapple leading the way. Hints of citrus, especially grapefruit and lime, are also present, along with a subtle juniper presence.
Palate: The gin is lush and tropical on the palate, with the sweetness of pineapple balanced by the zesty tang of grapefruit and lime. The traditional gin botanicals, including gunpowder tea, are also evident.
Finish: The finish is smooth and lingering, with a sweet tropical freshness from the pineapple and a gentle citrus zing.
