Barrel 17-44, (limited to 188 bottles) is the final Stouted Bourbon Barrel to be released and is a sister barrel to the DOUBLE GOLD MEDAL winning barrel (17-45) which was awarded during the 2022 San Francisco World Spirits Competition.
While this barrel, like all single barrels, is unique and unto its own, it does share many similar characteristics with 17-45 – coffee, cocoa, dark chocolate – with a bit more bite.
For those who have experienced one of our four stout finished bourbon singles barrels this is a great opportunity for a unique side by side comparison.
