I'm generally seeking best taste in a moderate price class, and El Silencio fills that bill even at local store prices. But PB Express has a great deal right now, and if you can pick up locally, you should buy several. It is a balanced Mezcal with moderate smokiness and a sweeter mouth than some others, perfect for sipping. Sure it mixes well too, but I would not do that.

Bought a bottle of this on the Royal Mile in 1991 after the distillery closed. Still have some left. The new is just as good as the old. So nice to have it back again.

received all items ordered quickly, however when I order 6 of one product, would you please pack in a fitted box then in another outer one for protection against breakage. packing each bottle in multiple layers of bubblewrap was overkill - not easy to transfer to my car or unwrap. thank you

Better then expected, smooth and flavorful
I generally do not like Old Fashioned premixes. I like Penelope products so gave it a try. It is very good and my wife who does not drink bourbon liked it. That is why I bought 2 more bottles.

This is literally my favorite bourbon on the market. If you're into an oaky taste, with sweet peanut pie, chocolate and coffee...buy it. I consider this what old forester 1920 should be.
