Don Julio 70 is the world’s first clear añejo tequila, a masterful blend that combines the rich complexity of traditional añejo with the smooth, crisp character of a blanco.
Crafted from 100% Blue Weber agave, the tequila is aged for 18 months in American white oak barrels before being charcoal filtered for crystal clarity. The mash bill is entirely agave, sourced from the Highlands of Jalisco, Mexico. On the palate, expect lush flavors of caramel, vanilla, and toasted oak, balanced by bright agave sweetness and subtle peppery spice. The finish is long and silky, with lingering notes of honey and oak.
Originally founded in 1942 by Don Julio González, the distillery has earned numerous accolades, including multiple gold medals at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition.
