Lunazul Extra Anejo Tequila is a limited Edition, Extra Aged Anejo Tequila aged for 46 months in Elijah Craig Small Batch Bourbon Whiskey barrels. Unsurpassed quality, hand crafted and small batch production. This result of this aging is a sophisticated fusion of two premium spirit traditions: tequila craftsmanship and bourbon heritage. Handcrafted from 100% Blue Weber agave and double distilled, it embodies the art of slow aging and careful barrel selection.
The finishing process in Elijah Craig barrels imparts warm bourbon notes of caramel, vanilla, and toasted oak that meld harmoniously with the earthy agave base. The result is a full-bodied, ultra-premium añejo tequila that celebrates the best of both worlds.
Tasting Notes:
Nose: Roasted agave, vanilla bean, toasted oak, caramelized sugar, and hints of dried fruit
Palate: Silky and layered with sweet bourbon tones, rich oak, cinnamon, cooked agave, and subtle spice
Finish: Long and warming with notes of vanilla custard, oak char, and a hint of peppery agave
