Maple syrup aged in a whiskey barrel makes a lovely treat. Adding rye whiskey back to these barrels after aging maple syrup creates a captivating concoction, and that's exactly what we did. Our 6-year-old straight rye whiskey spent over 2 years in a maple syrup barrel, producing a spirit with notes of cinnamon sticks, almond blossoms, and crystallized maple sugar. The classic spice profile of our signature whiskey blends nicely with flavors of powdered sugar, fresh figs, vanilla cream, and dark chocolate from the maple syrup barrel. It’s Grade A ambrosia that we hope you enjoy!
