Teeling Single Malt Tequila Cask Finished Irish Whiskey is another Teeling masterpiece. Our Master Distiller, Alex Chasko, is renowned for his innovative cask selection when it comes to Irish Whiskey, creating expressions of true character. Distilled at the Teeling Distillery in Dublin, this quintessentially Irish Single Malt whiskey is crafted using 100% malted barley. The whiskey has spent it’s entire time maturing in a specially selected ex-Tequila Cask, before being decanted from cask number 88948. Limited to just 258 bottles, non chill filtered and botted at a cask strength of 58.9% ABV.
Tasting Notes:
NOSE: Bursts of vanilla, honeysuckle and sweet agave intermingle with freshly cut grass, lemon zest, spearmint and soft oak tannins
TASTE: Warming mouthfeel with nectar and white fruits combining with black pepper, cardamom, and golden syrup sweetness
FINISH: Rich orchard fruits and sweetness give way to a long, complex finish
