Comprised of 56% Kentucky heritage grown rye, 33% corn and 11% malted barley. It enters the barrel at 100 proof to attain pre-prohibition style rye whiskey. Non-chill filtered.
1 x Wilderness Trail Wheated Small Batch Bourbon Whiskey: Unlike more common "sour mash" recipes, we start with 100% fresh ingredients, including the highest quality Kentucky limestone water. Comprised of a mash bill of 64% corn, 24% wheat and 12% malted barley, it is one of the highest ratios of wheat used in Bourbon made in Kentucky. We source the corn and wheat from a farm just a few miles from the distillery. Non-chill filtered.
1 x Wilderness Trail High Rye Small Batch Bottled in Bond Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey: Unlike more common "sour mash" recipes, we start with 100% fresh ingredients, including the highest quality Kentucky limestone water. Comprised of 64% corn, 24% rye and 12% malted barley, it is one of the highest rye content bourbons in Kentucky. We use Kentucky grown heritage rye from a local farm and the corn comes from a farm a few miles away from the distillery. Non-chill filtered.
